1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using Zer0 in any capacity, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction if higher), and you agree to abide by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and all applicable local, national, and international laws.
2. User Responsibilities
When operating inside our application node network, you remain explicitly bound by these operational duties:
- You are uniquely responsible for all content you publish on Zer0, including text arrays, imagery files, audio streams, and video items.
- You agree not to post, stream, or transmit unlawful, harmful, defamatory, hateful, or otherwise prohibited content under applicable sovereign laws.
- You may not use Zer0 to infringe the rights of others, including intellectual property rights, privacy layers, or publicity rights.
3. Intellectual Property & Ownership
3.1 General Rule
All content published on Zer0 by users (including but not limited to text blocks, images, videos, and original songs) remains the intellectual property of the original author but is licensed non-exclusively to Zer0 for functional use, distribution, and display within the platform layer.
3.2 Zer0 System Rights
- Zer0 reserves the absolute right to securely store, display, distribute, track, and moderate user-generated content entries.
- Zer0 branding, layout formats, icons, logos, and distinct designs remain our exclusive property and may not be copied, modified, or distributed without prior written consent.
- Zer0 reserves the right to monitor and investigate complaints from third parties regarding the unauthorized publication of text, images, videos, or songs on the platform. The rightful owner or holder of the content may notify Zer0 of plagiarism, copyright infringement, or piracy. Upon receiving a valid complaint, Zer0 may take appropriate action, including removing the infringing content, suspending the account of the offending user, or providing necessary system indicators to facilitate legal action. The content owner retains the clear right to pursue legal remedies against the publisher of infringing material in accordance with applicable laws.
3.3 User Rights & Restrictions
- Users retain authorship and creator profiles over their public timeline publications.
- Content must not be misused, altered, or presented outside the platform environment without proper attribution to both the original author profile and the Zer0 system tag.
4. Specific Publication Content Rules
4.1 Text Publications
- Text content published on Zer0 is structurally protected. It may be printed, shared, or transmitted electronically, but the author’s name and Zer0/Logo signatures must be visibly included (positioned either at the top, bottom, or directly alongside the content).
- Strict Privacy Shield Rules: Sensitive information relating to a specific individual known by either their name, surname, or full name—such as their house number, vehicle registration (number plate), government-issued ID number, family details, or GPS coordinates of their current, previous, or future (next) place of residence or of their current, previous, or future (next) geographical location—is strictly prohibited from being published on Zer0 unless blurred or masked. Such information may not be extracted from Zer0 publications and redistributed outside the platform.
- Zer0 upholds freedom of expression; however, hate speech directed at a specific, identifiable individual — identified by their name, surname, or full name — is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate content removal, account suspension, or absolute termination.
4.2 Image Publications
- Images may be downloaded by users for personal use parameters.
- When deployed outside the Zer0 client app, authors must be explicitly credited with small, highly visible, and readable attribution text structured exactly as:
“Zer0 @subdomain”or“Zer0 [Author’s Name & Surname]”.
Text, image, and video publications must not contain nudity or uncovered private body parts, sexual content including sexual intercourse imitating postures, body movements, objects, or fluids, promotion or depiction of drug use, or erratic, graphic, or violent scenes such as the slaughtering, cutting, or harming of a person’s or animal’s body to cause bleeding or end life. Violation of this rule will result in immediate content removal, account suspension, or termination.
4.3 Video Publications
- Videos may be downloaded and used outside the Zer0 ecosystem.
- The 50% Threshold Rule: If 50% or more of a video is shown, re-published, or broadcast, explicit permission from the original author is strictly required.
- If less than 50% of the video content length is used, no prior permission is needed, provided strict author attribution is maintained as outlined in Section 4.2.
4.4 Songs & Audio Publications
- Songs, audio cuts, or independent artist tracks may be downloaded natively.
- The 20% Authorization Rule: If 20% or more of the total song length is played or broadcast outside Zer0, explicit permission from the author/artist is required.
- Less than 20% may be played without prior written authorization, but proper tracking attribution must be given. Unauthorized use beyond these stated structural limits will be treated as copyright infringement or piracy.
- Zer0 follows unique artist compensation mechanisms, which are covered in a separate specialized audio terms document.
5. Commercial Use Restrictions
- No publication array (text, image, video, or audio) pulled from Zer0 may be used in advertisements, sponsorships, promotional campaigns, or any profit-making activity unless performed natively by the original author or with their express written consent.
- Zer0 does not license user-generated content assets for external commercial exploitation.
6. Data & Privacy
Your personal account data is handled securely according to our official Privacy Policy rules. By accessing and using Zer0, you provide legal consent to our system data collection, background data storage, and usage models as explained inside that linked framework mapping.
7. Account Suspension & Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate account records at our complete discretion that:
- Violate any element of these consolidated structural Terms.
- Engage in targeted harassment, hate speech propagation, or any unlawful activity.
- Abuse Zer0’s real-time functional features or attempt to exploit its micro-task growth networks for fraud.
Upon termination, you lose access to all features, though Zer0 may retain necessary verification records for legal, safety code, or compliance purposes.
8. Limitation of Liability
- Zer0 services are provided strictly on an “as is” and “as available” architectural performance state.
- We make no guarantees or warranties of uninterrupted service uptime, error-free execution loops, or absolute cryptographic security.
- To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, Zer0 is not liable for any damages resulting from system misuse, unauthorized access parameters, or user reliance on user-generated content arrays.
9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed under the laws of South Africa. Any disputes, structural conflicts, or legal claims arising out of the use of the platform will be subject exclusively to the jurisdiction of the courts in South Africa.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Updates will be communicated via the app interface layer or on our official website portal. Continued use of Zer0 after modification items are published indicates your legal acceptance of the updated terms framework.
